Satisficing

Satisficing is quite a difficult term, however you have explained it rather well. What I still don't get is that why it's called bounded rationality. Rationality might have limitations, but I doubt that they would be fixed ones? I would like to hear your thoughts!

rationality

It's my impression that "satisficing" as a term to dssignate bounded rationality never caught on - and that in turn 'bounded rationality' never penetrated very deeply into traditional economics or scientific thinking?
Behavioral ecnomics seems to be the exception.
